Cancellation Policy

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

These terms and conditions are effective as of December, 2024.

All purchases and bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions.

  • I acknowledge that sound therapy is a complementary therapy and not intended to replace medical or psychological care. I understand that group sound therapy sessions are meant to support relaxation & promote wellbeing, though individual experiences and outcomes may differ from person to person and from session to session.

  • I understand that taking part in group sound therapy sessions may come with certain risks & is not limited to unexpected emotional responses, physical sensations or discomfort & unforeseen or unusual reactions from the sound.

  • I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose any existing or underlying health conditions or concerns to the practitioner holding the class that may affect my ability to safely participate in group sound therapy sessions.

  • I acknowledge through voluntary participation that Milyana Sound Therapy is not liable for any physical, emotional or psychological effects resulting from the sessions.

  • Milyana Sound Therapy reserves the right to refuse or terminate sessions if the client’s behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or violates terms.

  • Bookings for Group Sound Therapy sessions, 1:1 In Person sessions & Distant Energetic Sound Sessions can only be made through the Milyana Sound Therapy website which full payment is required upfront to secure your session.

  • All sessions cannot be gifted or transferred to another person as your session is specifically for you. If you would like to buy a session for another, gift vouchers are available for purchase through direct emailing to Milyana Sound Therapy.

  • During distant sessions, clients are encouraged to be located in a quiet, comfortable environment where they are free from distractions.

  • Distant session synopsis’s are sent directly to the client with a 1 week turn around time unless otherwise specified.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

  • Milyana Sound Therapy ensures that all client information and records will be protected and remain confidential.

  • Milyana Sound Therapy agrees to not share, sell or distribute any of the information provided by the client.

  • Client information and the post session synopsis won’t be discussed with anyone other than the client and will be sent directly to the client.

  • Milyana Sound Therapy minimises the personal client information required for your protection and prioritises the security of the collected information. We are not responsible for any 3rd party interference relating to this website or transfer of information.

  • Records will be retained according to the Privacy Act.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

GROUP SOUND BATHS:

  • In the event of you requiring to cancel your reservation for the group sound bath, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for a full refund less the card processing fee of 2.2%.

  • Failure to attend or cancel your reservation before the 24 hour notice period for the Group Sound Baths will result in no refund.

DISTANT SESSIONS:

  • Distant sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before your appointment time. You can find the rescheduling link in the initial confirmation email.

  • In the event of you requiring to cancel your appointment, all distant sound sessions require a minimum of 48 hours notice for a full refund less the card processing fee of 2.2%.

  • If less than 48 hours notice is given in regards to your cancellation the full payment of the session will not be refunded. Instead a credit will be admitted to you starting from the date of your initial booking with a time cap of 3 months. If the credit does not get used within the 3 month limit your credit will expire. This credit is non-transferable and can only be used for the person & session that it was purchased for.

IN PERSON SESSIONS:

  • In person sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before your appointment time. You can find the rescheduling link in the initial confirmation email.

  • In the event of you requiring to cancel your appointment, all in person sessions require a minimum of 48 hours notice for a full refund less the cards processing fee of 2.2%.

Please be aware that for both distant and in person sessions, the preparation for your session has already begun before the designated appointment time.

Thank you for understanding the boundaries in place in regards to cancelling and rescheduling.

RETREAT OFFERING:

  • To secure Milyana Sound Therapy’s retreat offering a 25% deposit of the full retreat price is required to secure this booking.

  • This deposit is non- refundable if you decide to cancel your retreat within 30 days of your retreat starting.

  • Full payment is required within 14 days of the retreat finishing.

By booking or attending any Sound Therapy Sessions with Milyana Sound Therapy, you agree to these Policies and
